In summer 2021 SlamFresh received funding from Arts Council England to set up their business and to run a project with a group of 8 young people in Walker Riverside Academy. Over the course of 7 sessions the group worked with Rowan McCabe and Donald Jenkins to write, edit and perform their own slam poetry. The work was then professionally filmed by PicturesbyBish and 10 videos were uploaded onto YouTube.
